Today April 12th, 2025, Baja Angels of the Sea reaches a remarkable milestone – our second anniversary of service to the communities of Northern Baja. These two years have been filled with incredible growth, heartwarming successes, and yes, some significant challenges. Yet through it all, our mission to support orphanages, women’s shelters, and vulnerable individuals has only strengthened and expanded.
Rising Above Adversity
Our journey hasn’t been without obstacles. Most recently, we faced a devastating cyber attack that forced us to rebuild our entire digital infrastructure from scratch. This unexpected setback tested our resilience but ultimately strengthened our commitment to our mission. Like the communities we serve, we’ve learned that true strength often emerges from our greatest challenges.
The Impact We’ve Made Together
Despite these hurdles, we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished in just two years:
Sustainable Solutions: Our orphanage sustainability projects i.a, the hydroponic garden are under work and we are creating new concepts to start in our 3rd year. These initiatives not only address immediate nutritional needs but also teach valuable skills and environmental stewardship to the children.
Safe Haven Sanctuary: Our women’s shelter program has provided refuge, counseling, and pathways to independence for dozens of women and children escaping domestic violence situations.
Education & Future Fund: We’ve established scholarship opportunities and career training programs that are helping orphaned youth transition successfully to independent adulthood.
Core Mission Support: Thanks to our dedicated donors, we’ve built the operational foundation that makes all our work possible – from storage space, transporting children to their music classes and food deliveries to communication systems that coordinate our volunteer efforts.

Cabana Sky Collaboration: Our sewing program partnership with Cabana Sky has not only provided skill development for shelter residents but has created sustainable income opportunities through beautiful handcrafted items.
Jersey Milk Collaboration: Our collaboration with Jersey Milk has expanded, ensuring a continued supply of essential dairy products for the children.

Our Network of Ambassadors: We now have 4 dedicated ambassadors representing Baja Angels in California, Las Gaviotas, Calafia, Valle de Guadalupe, and Ensenada.
Looking Forward: Growth on the Horizon
As we enter our third year, we’re excited to announce several new initiatives:
- Creation of a youth mentorship network connecting successful program graduates with current participants.
- Expansion of our hydroponic program to a second orphanage location.
- We are reaching out to local pharmacies to establish partnerships that will provide essential medicines for the children.
- Our team is working on fresh designs for new shirts and sweatshirts to support fundraising efforts.
