Shelter for Abused Women

🕊️A Safe Haven for Healing

At Baja Angels of the Sea, we believe every woman deserves safety, dignity, and a chance to rebuild her life. Our Shelter for Abused Women provides refuge and resources for women and children escaping domestic violence, offering not only protection but a path toward independence and healing.

A Place of Safety and Compassion

The shelter offers a secure, nurturing environment where survivors can begin to heal, both emotionally and physically. Each woman who arrives is met with empathy, counseling support, and the essentials she and her children need, from food and clothing to medical care and a caring community.

Rebuilding Lives with Purpose

Beyond immediate safety, our program helps women recover and move forward. Through life skills training, mentorship, and partnerships with local organizations, women gain the tools to rebuild their confidence and create a stable future. Many learn new trades and crafts that help them earn an income and stand on their own.

Guided by Hope

With the loving guidance of volunteers and the community, the angels behind our mission, every woman and child is surrounded by support, faith, and compassion. The goal is not only survival but transformation, helping them move from trauma to strength, and from fear to freedom.

Roof of Hope for Rancho La Hermosa

At Rancho La Hermosa, children eat and gather in an open outdoor area with no shade. This project builds a proper roof over that space, giving them a cooler, safer place to share meals, spend time together, and welcome the groups who visit to support them.
