At Rancho La Hermosa, 26 bright, curious children are ready to learn and grow. For many of them, English is far more than a school subject. It is a door to better schools, steady work, and a wider world. With your help, we can give them the tools to practice every week and carry that skill with them into adulthood. ✨
The Kids of Rancho La Hermosa
Rancho La Hermosa is home to 26 children, each one full of curiosity and ready to try. Many have never had regular language lessons or access to learning tools like tablets. They are not short on talent or heart. They are simply short on opportunity. This program exists to change that.
Why English Opens Doors
Along the coast of Baja California, English can be the difference between a job and a better one. It opens the way to further study, to work in tourism and across the border, to scholarships, and to connecting with people far beyond their hometown. Teaching these children English now is one of the most lasting gifts we can offer, a skill that stays with them for life and travels wherever they go.
How the Program Works
We are building a steady, friendly weekly program that the children can look forward to:
- 10 shared Amazon tablets the kids use together as learning tools
- A language learning app that builds pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence in real conversation
- Children are grouped by age so every lesson lands at the right level
- Weekly sessions led by our volunteers and orphanage staff
- A focus on speaking, listening, and the everyday English they will actually use
Consistency is the secret. A little practice every week, supported by the right tools, adds up to real progress over time.

On August 26, 2026, children and mothers from orphanages and shelters spend a joyful day at El Palmar Paradise. Your sponsorship covers entry, food, and transportation, giving kids a carefree summer day of swimming, play, and laughter they will not soon forget.

At Rancho La Hermosa, children eat and gather in an open outdoor area with no shade. This project builds a proper roof over that space, giving them a cooler, safer place to share meals, spend time together, and welcome the groups who visit to support them.
