LeRoy Irvin Field of Hope Project
Welcome to the LeRoy Irvin “Field of Hope” project. This project is near and dear to former LA Rams NFL player LeRoy Irvin’s heart. He has dedicated his time and determination to get this vision off the ground and bring it to reality. By donating to this cause, you we will be able to bring this long sought after dream to life. With your help we can change the lives of many unfortunate children that would not get this opportunity in any other way.
LeRoy himself is person who has overcome an enormous number of challenges in his life which is fed into his motivation to provide the tools for others to be successful. Every time he has faced adversity in his career or personal life it was that fuel that launched him above and beyond his obstacles. Shattering records and breaking barriers as one of only a handful of players in the entire NFL league in history to be named “All Pro” in two different positions giving him the nickname the “playmaker”. 44 years later he still holds the record for accumulating 207 punt return yards against the Atlanta Falcons in 1981.
Additionally, LeRoy Irvin plans to dedicate his time and knowledge to the “Field of Hope” from the beginning of this process all the way until it’s completion. We will be updating the project in real time online where we will all be able to see this vision unfold before our eyes. In building this inspiring football field at the City of Refuge Hacienda Victoria in Rosarito, Mexico we will provide the ability for these children to grow, learn, and receive everlasting life long impacts. They will be given opportunities and experiences that will enrich this country and the lives of many wonderful children that otherwise would be forgotten and left behind.
