English Learning Program

Help 26 children at Rancho La Hermosa build English skills through a planned weekly learning program, shared tablets and age-appropriate practice.

Why It Matters

Words open doors.

At Rancho La Hermosa, 26 bright, curious children are ready to learn and grow. For many of them, English is far more than a school subject. It is a door to better schools, steady work, and a wider world. With your help, we can give them the tools to practice every week and carry that skill with them into adulthood. ✨

Rancho La Hermosa is home to 26 children, each one full of curiosity and ready to try. Many have never had regular language lessons or access to learning tools like tablets. They are not short on talent or heart. They are simply short on opportunity. This program exists to change that.

Along the coast of Baja California, English can be the difference between a job and a better one. It opens the way to further study, to work in tourism and across the border, to scholarships, and to connecting with people far beyond their hometown. Teaching these children English now is one of the most lasting gifts we can offer, a skill that stays with them for life and travels wherever they go.

How the Program Works

We are building a steady, friendly weekly program that the children can look forward to:

Consistency is the secret. A little practice every week, supported by the right tools, adds up to real progress over time.

With your support, these 26 children will gain:

  • Stronger English speaking and reading skills
  • Comfort and confidence with everyday technology
  • More doors to open in school, work, and life
  • A lasting weekly learning routine inside the orphanage

This is not a one time gift. It is the start of a routine that keeps teaching long after the campaign ends.

Shared learning tools

The program plan includes 10 shared Amazon tablets and a language learning app.

Weekly practice

Volunteers and orphanage staff will lead weekly sessions, with children grouped by age.

Everyday confidence

Speaking, listening and everyday English practice support learning that children can carry into the future.

A little of you. A lot of good.

Share your time, your talents or your kindness. Together, we can create more opportunities in Baja California.
